          I’m grateful for my time as a teacher for many reasons. I learn effective tools for time management. I never expected what I learned at one of my first jobs would stick for the rest of my life. Truly dealing with hyperactive 2nd graders will get anyone to get their act together! lol! Those kids were great but man oh man I wouldn’t want to do that again. Now I just babysit or tutor one on one. No need to have to deal with more than 2 kids. I believe I had about 26 kids in my class. way too much!

          I live in NY, and walking is a big part of my life. It’s also easy cardio. If you’re starting a fitness routine, consider walking. It’s easy and free. You can start it anytime; you don’t need a fancy membership or equipment. You can do it anywhere! No need to have a certain location to walk either. You can try to park your car farther from your office. You can do it after dinner with your family. If I’m temping at an office, I do it during lunch time to get in my steps. So flexible!!

          From Spender to Saver: Embrace Low Spending Months

          I confess…I’m a spender. Boy! Do I love to spend on absolutely nothing. What do I mean? I’ll spend my money on just junk and things I really don’t need.

          In the past few years, I’ve gotten better about my spend but still… a dumb purchase will occur.

          For example, last month I spent an alarming amount of money on take out and mobile game. Yes, mobile game. Why? Ehhh… I’m not sure but the urge was strong to spend.

          Mind you, I spent about $70 on mobile games . That’s a lot of nothing begin paid for.

          I decided to remove those matching games that are mindless and replaced them with games that teach me skills like coding & french. They’re also free!

          For the month of March, I’ve decided to do a low spending month. Why low spending and not no spending? I’m always trying new things that fuel my adventurous spirit, so I thought that wouldn’t work for me.
